The PBL, Maintenance & Sustainment Day
Friday, December 5, 2008

This day will focus on the challenges that are important to redefining and reshaping the way military-industry partnerships and PBL’s are structured. The program will feature a comprehensive discussion of not only what is working in the world of PBL, but where future challenges will surface and how PBL is evolving to meet those challenges.

PBL is all about leveraging the best capabilities of the public and private sectors to achieve Warfighter performance outcomes, and effective partnering is critical to this approach.

During this day we’ll examine how to design both a system and a product support strategy that will optimize a system's performance for the Warfighter. We’ll document examples of how to increase a system's readiness, while minimizing its logistics footprint, and reducing its life cycle cost.
